Owner/Instructor (Brown Belt)
Ramey started training at Gracie South in 2016 after moving to the Flowood area from the Mississippi Delta. Ramey's motivation was getting in better shape and learning to defend himself and his family. His profession is in Sales Management and Business to Business Sales. Outside of Jiu Jitsu, Ramey enjoys teaching Sunday School and working with his church, exercising, reading, and playing board games with his girls. Ramey is passionate about helping others to reach their goals and really enjoys working with new students to discover the value that Jiu Jitsu can bring to their lives.
Owner/Instructor (Purple Belt)
When she is not being a full-time mom to their four girls, Amber is a teacher in the Pearl Public School District, who loves helping children reach their potential! Amber started at Gracie South in 2016 after moving from a small community in Carroll County. Amber loves the outdoors, learning, and believes Jiu-Jitsu is the perfect sport to challenge the mind and body. She also really enjoys going axe throwing with her Women’s Self Defense group.
Black Belt
Chance is a black belt under Royce Gracie 2nd degree black belt Travis Neagle. Chance is a former competitive bodybuilder with numerous accolades, including overall wins at regional competitions & class wins at national qualifiers. Looking to stay in shape after bodybuilding and with a long time sparked interest in Jiu Jitsu from watching early UFC’s chose to start training the art.
Black Belt
Travis Neagle is the founder of Gracie South. He founded Gracie South in June of 2006. He has been training Jiu-Jitsu since 1993. He received his Black Belt from Royce Gracie in 2008. He has intensive training under Rob Kahn of Gracie Tampa. He also holds a Black Belt in Kenpo. Travis is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
